CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

TITLE: e-Commerce Merchandiser
DEPARTMENT: e-Commerce
MANAGER: Director of e-Commerce
LOCATION: Burbank, CA

SUMMARY: Drive sales through actively merchandising the website to ensure the site reflects the brand while maximizing selling opportunities. Manages the customer journey through the site.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Roles & Responsibilities – Site Merchandising

  • Merchandise the site on a daily basis

  • Review data analytics to determine merchandising strategy

  • Daily and weekly review of site heatmap; present findings/suggestions on a daily/weekly basis

  • Reviews weekly best/worst sellers and presents to team on a weekly basis

  • Reviews weekly inventory and partners with planning to ensure product demand is fulfilled

  • Review competitor websites to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions, and trends.

  • Executes the cross-sell and up-sell strategy for each item that is displayed on the website to generate additional sales.

  • Leverages web analytics to understand the performance of and customer interaction with site content, such as categories, featured placements (including promotions/sales), and general online shopping experiences to identify business opportunities and risks.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities in the assortment for growth/decline by category based on market trends, competitive landscape, and historical performance.

  • Continually assesses the competitive landscape by examining merchandising strategies of key competitors and best-in-class online retailers to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights; brand strategies; analysis of KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion, in-stock levels, and assortment alignment) and category or product-specific promotions. Report findings on a monthly/quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed)

  • Continually seeks to improve the online experience by researching and staying abreast of new and innovative online solutions and capabilities; key competitor actions; industry trends and emerging customer and market needs. Report findings on a monthly/quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed)

  • Fills out PDP information: product description, sizing, care, styled with, SEO copy.

  • Consistently looks for QC issues on website and repairs and communicates to team, ie. Redirects 404s on site

  • Partners with Digital Marketing Agency to recognize search word trends and suggest opportunities

  • Merchandise product categories based on newsletters

  • Assists with the ideation and execution of marketing calendar

  • Assists with on-site execution of all marketing initiatives

  • Coordinate with collection merchandiser on e-commerce exclusive flat photography

  • Maintain social shop catalog + merchandise collections for IG

  • Coordinate with creative director on image selection for products/marketing


Roles & Responsibilities – Monthly Photo Shoots

  • Assists Art Director on a set day of the e-commerce photoshoot
  • Ensures all products are shot per the directive


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Data-driven, with experience and a focus on conversion rate and tracking customer flow through the site
  • Working knowledge of both Google Analytics and Shopify is a must
  • Creates and manages the directives for e-Commerce photoshoots


TITLE: Sample Coordinator, hockeydantan Clothing
DEPARTMENT: e-Commerce
MANAGER: e-Commerce Merchandiser/Merchandiser
LOCATION: Burbank, CA

SUMMARY: Support the Merchandising and Creative Team at hockeydantan Clothing with coordination and management of all sample organization, send-outs, and collection.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and maintain organization of all samples by delivery and season
  • Pull samples for all required meetings including weekly e-Commerce/marketing meetings, best seller meetings, etc.
  • Manage and organize samples before photoshoots; check the racks against the directive and ensure every sample is on the rack and checked off on the directive
  • Ensure any SMS samples are replaced with PP samples prior to photoshoots
  • Steam all samples and untag garments the day prior to a photoshoot
  • Assist stylist in steaming and dressing model at all photoshoots
  • Attach tags back to garments and organize samples post-shoot
  • Collect and prepare racks of samples requested for all sample send-outs; sourcing assistant checks and physically send


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a team player with a great attitude. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A clear communicator, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational / project management skills
  • Retail store experience a plus


TITLE: Director of Marketing and Public Relations
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
MANAGER: Debra Polanco
LOCATION: Burbank, CA

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work side by side with e-Commerce Director, Creative Director, and Art Director.
  • Lead the creation of a marketing strategy with ongoing alignment with sales, merchandising and the
  • hockeydantan e-Commerce site.
  • Manage, direct and guide Marketing Associate & Social Media Manager
  • Manage overall marketing calendar and planning to create cohesive storytelling across email marketing
  • product, e-Commerce, and social media to entice them and promote key products for each delivery.
  • Facilitate all creative asset designs and approvals for email marketing, e-Commerce, digital marketing, and
  • social media.
  • Communicate regularly with wholesale teams and coordinate the execution of all retail events.
  • Develop creative campaigns and key brand moments to increase engagement and raise brand awareness.
  • Manage print, outdoor and digital advertising assets.
  • Manage and execute full production for all photoshoots. Support on the post-production process.
  • Manage the external PR/Digital agency for editorial placements, celebrities and in charge of partnerships/dressing & overall strategy. Develop & grow affiliate program.
  • Facilitate PR samples and gifting items to ensure PR agency has all the tools needed for editorial and
  • dressing opportunities.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with influencers to secure strategic partnerships to support social
  • media goals.
  • Oversee planning and execution of social media content with a goal to grow our social media channels.
  • Manage overall marketing budgets to drive increased efficiency.
  • Partner with the art team to create all in-store collateral, marketing materials needed for sales and
  • merchandising teams.
  • Facilitate asset refreshes for e-Commerce, marketing materials, emails, and social media.
  • Plan internal corporate events and team bonding workshops to increase overall company cultures and
  • serve on culture clubs.
  • Lead #hockeydantanGivesBack programming and manage marketing opportunities to create a strong brand
  • stories to share with our customers and create a development community program.
  • Serve as a key contact for regional showrooms, assisting with marketing strategies for North America and
  • Canadian regions.
  • Manage image requests & GWP materials for all showrooms and accounts whenever requested.
  • Manage monthly huddle meetings at headquarters with department leads.
  • Serve as Key contact for licensing partners for all accounts, art, brand, assets, and approvals


TITLE: Licensee Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: G&A

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive's behalf
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Performing minor accounting and bookkeeping duties
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Answering incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner and accurately taking messages
  • Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
  • Managing the executive's day-to-day calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Coordinating travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and create trip itineraries
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects

TITLE: Senior Bottoms Designer
DEPARTMENT: Design
MANAGER: Debra Polanco
LOCATION: Burbank, CA

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and shops seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and trim
  • Create inspiration Mood Boards
  • Generate hand and Illustrator sketches including CADS’s
  • Produces detailed seasonal presentations
  • Create style boards for the area of responsibility, showing silhouette and color, fabric, print/pattern/embroidery options
  • Work with the graphic team to create print patterns and embroidery layouts
  • Request fabric spec sheets and trim detailed sheets from vendors
  • Wash design and approvals
  • Set up development pages and keep them updated through changes
  • Create and send out tech packs for all styles each season and ensure they are maintained, organized, and accurate, so that samples are developed efficiently
  • Communicate promptly and daily with overseas vendors and internal teams
  • Attend milestone meetings: Color/Mood, Sketch, Proto, Merch, Handover, and Target Fit
  • Work closely with all cross-functional teams- Tech, PD, and Production
  • Attend all fittings with the technical team and help determine the appropriate fit and be responsible for giving aesthetic and visual input
  • Maintain the spec, fabric, and trim library
  • Send all comments for artworks and lab dips
